It is nearly spring and a rough New York winter of what has felt like constant snow, slush and freezing fingers, has us longing for a change in temperature. As winter makes a not-so-gentle departure, we have been dreaming up some of the most fabulous places to spend the last of these frigid days… in bed of course!

1. A modern, upholstered platform bed.
We can imagine camping out on this bed for the entire winter. We would upholster the surround in Clare, our most inviting wool flannel. Our scheme would include Clare | Walnut on the frame. Killarney | Hickory would make a perfect snuggly throw and Corsini Brocade | Mesquite in big comfy pillows would add a touch of the unexpected! That amazing view of a lush backyard garden finishes off a most perfect setting!!
2. A unique traditional bed with a hint of glitz
This bed is the perfect mix of antique glamor and comfortable luxury. Future Fortune | Pewter would give this headboard a lustrous glow. Veracruz | Tempest provides a light and airy wool/linen duvet. Retablo | Wisteria on generous pillows would add an accent of romantic violet and a touch more sparkle to this very inviting bed.
3. A sunny day bed
This casual daybed is the ideal location to curl up with a book and could be the perfect place to navigate into spring! We would upholster the seat cushion in a fresh green…our choice is Bingley | Moss The two large square pillows would be wonderful in Wycliffe | Moss for added texture. We would then add an armload of throw pillows in soft lamb’s wool fabrics like Saltaire | Moss and Rigton | Moss. All in all, we will be floating on a new spring leaf as we make our way to warmer days!
