As many of you may be aware, Contract Magazine sponsors an awards breakfast every year that honors architects and designers whose work from the previous year is considered exceptional. Jennifer Busch – the wonderful editor of Contract – hosts this event (the last Friday in January) in an ensemble provided by an industry company. Place has been asked to provide the fabric for Jennifer’s outfit for January’s fete. And Place has asked Jean Lin, editor of Otto-Otto AND fashion designer extraordinaire (dressedinyellow.com) to design Jennifer’s ensemble. The process of designing the outfit will appear regularly on the Otto-Otto site. The awards breakfast is an important way to honor designers and provides a fun and upbeat opportunity to get together in the chilly winter months. Stay tuned!
